Gel printing is an easy-to-learn, versatile monoprint technique that uses a flexible, reusable gel plate to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints. In this three-hour workshop, you will create a concertina book that will accommodate the fluid process of gell printing. We will work with layering, stencils and natural materials.
$145 all materials provided, including a gel printing plate to keep (registration opens Dec 15)
Meet our teachers
Jamie Quirk is a lifelong crafter and tinkerer now living in Longmont. She enjoys sharing her passion for DIY with artists of all ages and across diverse media, from textiles to jewelry to natural objects and writing. While she has worked and taught in a variety of settings–including schools, libraries, and community centers–the importance of living a creative life is the thread that runs through it all.
