Design. Build. Problem-solve.

Sketch, design, and build your own imaginative structure — a treehouse, castle, fairy house, tiny cabin, houseboat, or an invention no one has ever seen before.

Campers begin by sketching ideas and learning simple design planning. Teachers help them turn drawings into 3-D constructions using cardboard, wood pieces, natural materials, fabric, wire, and found objects. We demonstrate safe building techniques step-by-step: cutting, joining, reinforcing, and adding details.

Students work at their own level. Some carefully plan every detail; others discover ideas as they build. Teachers provide lots of individual help so even beginners can succeed.

As the week continues, campers add balconies, bridges, furniture, landscapes, and small characters. On Friday we combine the structures into a collaborative village and invite families for a tour and celebration.

Great for kids who:

  • like building, Legos, crafting, or engineering

  • enjoy hands-on projects

  • may not think of themselves as “artists”

  • want to make something they can really play with and display at home

Campers go home with their structure and design sketches.
